SASISOPA

The SASISOPA (Sistema de Administración de Seguridad Industrial, Seguridad Operativa y Protección al Medio Ambiente – Industrial, Operational Safety and Environmental Management System) is required by Mexican regulation, to be implemented throughout the entire value chain of the hydrocarbon industry.

Additionally, the SASISOPA regulation is very prescriptive, requiring an audit of the management system’s implementation and the issuance of “Technical Opinions” of the correct “Correspondence” of the system that is to be authorized.

These “Technical Opinions” are to be issued at precise instances in the life of a project and changes of suppliers, consultants, and contractors. Therefore, these require a very close relationship with the authorized auditing firm.
